The Steadfast Tin Soldier will be presented at the Rogers High School Auditorium on Wickham Road in Newport, Rhode Island. Performances are at 2 pm and 8 pm. This original holiday ballet will be performed by the Island Moving Company. Fee. Please call 847-4470 for details.

If you are in/near Worcester, Massachusetts between December 9 and December 23, call 508-929-2700 and ask about "A Polar Bear's Journey", with storytelling, a train ride, and viewing of mother and daughter polar bears. There is a fee. Event is at the EcoTarium at 222 Harrington Way.

December 2 through December 30 you can visit the walk-through gingerbread house at the Newport Marriott Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island, at 25 America's Cup Avenue, from 10 am until 6 pm. It's free with a canned food donation Call 848-6912 for more information.
